An adventurous hike through the National Park! Inside the about 9 km wide gigantic crater we walk downhill, starting at 1,000 m above sea level through forests of pinetrees, endemic in the Canary Islands Archipelago. On the way, you can see the Cascada de los Colores, a waterfall which iron-rich water falls over the dam, creating a rainbow effect. We reach the Taburiente River - the only stream of the Canary Islands which has water all year round. We will see Roque de Los Muchachos, the highest peak on the island of La Palma. Descent through Dos Aguas, where converge streams flowing from all the sources of the caldera. We reach the Barranco de Los Angustias ravine which surprises us with its geological curiosities created by submarine volcanic eruptions. Route: approx. 16 km, time: approx. 6.5 hours.
